About Our Expertise

We spend the vast majority of our lives indoors.

Yet the health of that environment is rarely questioned with any real rigour.

Dwellsana exists to change that, bringing neuroscience, environmental psychology and healthy building science together into guidance precise enough to act on.

Why Dwellsana Exists

Dwellsana was founded by Hannah, a Chartered Surveyor with over twenty years' experience helping shape the built environment.

It was as a mother to two young children that she became fascinated by something her professional training had never fully addressed: the profound effect our homes have on how we sleep, feel, think and live.

Combining that professional rigour with a genuine passion for health and wellbeing, Hannah founded Dwellsana to translate what she knows about buildings into guidance people can actually use.

Evidence led design that helps people create healthier, happier spaces.

That combination, professional expertise in buildings and the lived reality of family life, is what shapes everything Dwellsana produces.

A healthy home should not be an afterthought once the aesthetics are settled. It deserves the same scrutiny as any other decision that affects your long term health.

Our Method

Everything Dwellsana produces, guides, product recommendations and consulting, starts from the same place: published research, recognised standards and a genuine question about what actually protects someone's health at home.

Hannah's background as a Chartered Surveyor shapes how that research gets applied, not as abstract theory, but tested against how buildings are actually built, specified and lived in.

We aim to ground our guidance in credible evidence rather than simply asserting it, and to be clear about any commercial relationships behind a recommendation.

This is not wellness content borrowing the language of science. It is healthy building principles, applied with rigour.

Who Dwellsana Is For

Dwellsana is for anyone who takes the health of their home seriously.

Homeowners renovating or furnishing with intention. Interior designers, architects and building professionals who specify on their behalf.

The audience is united less by profession than by the same underlying conviction: that a home's effect on health deserves real scrutiny, not an afterthought.
